I don’t even remember what they did beyond get rid of the pop-up head lights, paint it black, and put new wheels on it. Did they bag the F40?

No, but doing what they did was enough apparently. My favorite part was when they beat a dent into the firewall with a hammer to clear the pedal assembly.

Why they didn’t use the correct pedal assembly on the F40.........I can’t even.

My biggest issue with the GT build was the aluminum repair. Once you weld aluminum you lose a tremendous amount of strength - this assumes they used a high strength alloy, I’m not sure why they wouldn’t - which would required heat treating to get the necessary strength back.

Second issue, YOU DON’T PUT AIRBAGS ON A FREAKING RACECAR!!!!!!!

Personally I love it. We must also understand they technically saved this car. It was bent and had blown bags so it probably had a salvage title. With salvage title comes free reign in my opinion. These guys have balls and do not care what others think and I love it.

You know if they didn’t put it on air bags I would love it. Now I’m not sure I even want to watch this episode.

This GT has frame damage and they attempted to repair it. However apparently trying to repair the aluminum will keep it very weak. It's just a little concerning. Oh well, at least it was done to a car that would probably called totaled anyway.
